
Shiyu Zhang, PhD, is a Research Investigator at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research and a member of the d3center. Her research addresses missing data challenges in micro-randomized trials, aiming to improve study design and data quality for developing adaptive interventions. She leads work on strategies to reduce missingness in momentary assessments, including applications in substance use research. In MAPCI, she contributes expertise in trial conduct, data integrity, and analytic approaches for intensive longitudinal studies.
