I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan, and the Director of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at the Ann Arbor VA. My research focuses on chronic disease management and identifying gaps in healthcare delivery for specialty-managed chronic disease populations. I am working towards developing models that facilitate chronic care transitions, support self-management, and improve care quality.
