Dr. Hyzak is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor and Implementation Scientist in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University. Her research is funded across two institutes of the NIH (NIDA K01 and NINDS R34), and focuses on improving the adoption, implementation, and sustainment of Neurologic Informed Care in behavioral health treatment organizations and homeless service settings. She is particularly interested in understanding implementation strategy precision, efficiency, and generalizability by investigating the multilevel mechanisms through which strategies function to produce change.
