Kai-Lin You is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Her research focuses on cancer survivorship care, particularly the return-to-work experiences of nurses after a cancer diagnosis. Building on this focus, her postdoctoral scholarship aims to develop a technology-based, user-centered intervention that addresses the occupational challenges experienced by healthcare workers living with and beyond cancer. She is supported by a trainee grant that enables her to work collaboratively with cancer patients and oncology clinicians to create a gamified electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) platform. Across these projects, she emphasizes stakeholder engagement and the design of tools that fit the realities of clinical practice and working life. As a 2026 MAPCI Fellow, You joins a community advancing rigorous methods for developing and evaluating interventions in cancer prevention and control.
