
Ewa Czyz, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School and a faculty affiliate of the d3center. Her research focuses on youth suicide prevention and on personalizing care using adaptive interventions and mobile health strategies. She collaborates on NIMH-funded studies that apply SMART and micro-randomized trial designs to optimize standard and just-in-time adaptive interventions, including technology-supported components following inpatient or emergency department discharge. In MAPCI, she contributes applied expertise in mental health intervention optimization and mHealth delivery.
