Daniel Almirall is an Associate Professor of Statistics and a faculty member at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research and d3center. He develops statistical methods for adaptive interventions used to manage chronic conditions, including depression, anxiety, and substance use. His work also pioneers multilevel adaptive implementation strategies and Multilevel Implementation SMARTs (MI-SMARTs). In MAPCI, he supports the design and analysis of optimization trials and the translation of results into decision rules for practice.
