Allyson (Ally) Tabaczynski is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on developing effective, individualized, and scalable interventions that support long-term physical activity behavior change to promote healthy aging. She is particularly interested in multimodal adaptive interventions that combine digital tools with human-delivered support, allowing the type and intensity of help to evolve over time. A central theme of her work is understanding and strengthening the psychological processes that underlie physical activity maintenance. By pairing behavioral theory with adaptive intervention design, she aims to create approaches that are both personalized and feasible for broad dissemination. As a 2026 MAPCI Fellow, Tabaczynski joins a community advancing rigorous methods for developing and evaluating interventions in cancer prevention and control.
